Even if Kublai Khan Did not make that many inventions, he borrowed a numerous amount of ideas from China. Kublai Khan was the most famous issuer of paper money by telling traders to use this money. He confiscated any gold and silver that traders gave to him. During Marco Polo’s visits, he writes, "All these pieces of paper are issued with as much solemnity and authority as if they were of pure gold or silver.” saying everyone uses paper money more than coins themselves. Kublai borrowed and improved the use of gunpowder and rockets. Mongolians used gunpowder to fuel rockets, power bombs, grenades, and fire cannons.
